So it's finally here. Welcome 2017, I look forward to seeing what you hold. I thought I'd do things differently this year as I've been wanting to be more honest and open with myself - it's so easy to get caught up in life, blink and its gone. I'm going to keep a gratitude Journal. Every day (to the best of my ability) I'm going to record how I'm feeling and what has been great in my life that day. I'm hoping it wil help me realise more of what I have in life, and hopefully you'll feel like you can share things too.
So here it goes - day 1/365.
Ive spent New Years in Iceland and besides the obvious beauty of the place it's made me realise just how lucky I am. I'm grateful to my family for always being there for me and being able to provide me with opportunities not everyone is able to experience. I'm grateful to nature for always having the ability to take my breath away, and I'm grateful to the Icelanders for their hospitality and caring nature. Their crime free streets and family orientated lifestyle is truly inspiring and the rest of the world really could learn a thing or two from them. This year I am going to try and channel some of their principles and values into my own life, and hopefully I will wreep the rewards.
